We send no spoil to landfill

Excavation and trenching activities on our installation projects creates huge quantities of spoil. So as part of our ongoing commitment to the environment, we’ve invested in a bespoke washplant – the only one in Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.

Our equipment includes Powerscreen Commander 1400 Feeder, Powerscreen Aggwash, Duo Mobile Water Treatment System (inc. centrifuge, clarified water tank, sludge tank and low-level thickener).

Our wash plant enables us to remove ferrous metals from feed material and recycle 100% of our waste in accordance with a WRAP Quality Protocol. After rinsing, screening and scrubbing the processed materials produce four grades of aggregate and a single grade of sand as well as a high quality type 1 stone in line with highway specifications. We send no waste to landfill and because we also treat the water on-site, we have no need to store slurry in a lagoon.

Our Maisemore depot is equipped with a weighbridge and tipping facilities, so as well as treating our own spoil we also provide a convenient and cost-effective waste management/recycling solution for our clients.
